The overwound coils and dual blade construction help deliver seriously high output framed by a hefty amount of mid-range overtones, while the ceramic used for the blade-style magnets shapes a balanced but powerful core sound that lends itself to fat rock leads as well as warm-and-full cleans. Last but not least, the four-conductor wiring supports coil-splitting, meaning you can still gain access to single-coil-style tone in the bridge position.
