- The Phat Cat Single Coil Soapbar The Phat Cat pickup was originally made in the custom shop for Hamer guitars it is a traditional single coil P90 soapbar and fits under a humbucker cover. This SPH90-1 in the neck position gives all of the typical bounce and sparkle that you would expect from a vintage guitar. The Phat Cat uses two alnico 2 bar magnets with greater sustain and gentler attack. The metal covers give better shielding and noise reduction than other standard soapbar covers.
