- The high-output Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound delivers twice the power of a standard Stratocaster single-coil to your amplifier, giving you fearsome and full, punchy alnico V sound framed by sparkling trebles. With this pup, guitar chords are suddenly gigantic while single notes are given full and prominent voice. Each of the individual, hand-polished alnico V magnet poles shape fresh and shimmering high frequencies and lush upper-mid harmonics, and the coil has been dipped in lacquer before being wax potted to counter unwanted noise. While this model delivers big sound, the housing matches that of any standard single-coil. The RWRW (reverse wound, reverse polarity) design of this middle-position pickup gives you hum-free tone in positions 2 and 4.
