Product Fundamentals
  • The high-output Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickup gives you twice the power of a regular traditional Stratocaster singlecoil. Here you turn your Strat into a brutal beast with a full, punchy sound and still plenty of nice high sparkle. Your guitar chords come out big and robust, while your loose notes also come to the fore unprecedentedly well. The individually hand-polished Alnico 5 magnets offer you freshly sparkling trebles and special upper mid harmonics. The coils are immersed in lacquer and then wound plus waxed against background noise. Due to its construction, this Stratocaster pickup fits in any single-coil-style guitar. This RWRW (reverse wound, reverse polarity) mid element provides hum-free operation in positions 2 and 4. This tapped version offers both vintage and high output guitar sounds in 1 pickup. An extra lead wire is placed halfway up the coil winding, allowing you to tap this with a push-pull pot or mini-toggle switch.
