- The STR-3 is a high-output true single-coil Rhythm pickup bringing for hard-hitting tones and designed for the Telecaster. It works great for classic rock jazz-rock fusion heavy rock and aggressive instrumental rock. Great Tone Especially for Overdrive Designed for the neck position the amount of power in the STR-3 could compete with humbuckers and hot P-90s. This pickup boasts increased output and special coil winding thanks to the stronger magnetic field of the quarter-inch diameter pole pieces. You get high-end definition for great treble bite and a full powerful midrange. If youre looking to take your tone into the overdriven levels this becomes especially useful. The STR-3 uses 3/16 pole pieces and comes with a chrome-plated brass cover. For Well-Balanced Instruments This pickup is designed for all well-balanced instruments and works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.
