Thankfully the 1.6 mm Plex cable (first introduced with the award-winning TwinPlex range) is as robust as it can get - ensuring flawless signal transfer from lavalier to bodypack. To simulate years of intense use the ultra-thin cable was flexed stretched and pulled to the absolute limit at Shures development facility. The result - not a single sign of wear and tear. Plex cables simply dont misshape kink or split - which makes them super reliable and always easy to fit. Whats more because this is a medical-grade cable it will never dry out never crack and never deteriorate from chemical or water exposure. Which means it can be customised with theatre paints and polishes and washed down afterwards. Accessories for any scenario The DuraPlex DL4 lavalier comes with an assortment of useful accessories to help you get the most out of your microphone. A presence cap provides additional vocal clarity. When attached it adds a 3-4 dB boost near 10 kHz - ideal if your lavalier is concealed under layers of clothing. There are also two windshields - foam and snap-fit - to ensure a clean sound in hostile locations. Along with tie clips and a sticky mount you have everything you need to fit your lav correctly.
