- Based on the preamp-technology found in the SSL Duality console, the breathtaking flexibility of the Solid State Logic VHD+ preamp is now available in a tight 500 modular format. Record with an insane level of clarity using the SuperAnalogue preamp or switch to VHD mode to add some warm harmonic distortion, where the VHD (Variable Harmonic Drive) system uses a fully analogue signal path to create rich vintage-style colouring. Raise the input of the VHD gain control to add a second or third order harmonic distortion, or a blend of the two, to the source signal.
