Product Fundamentals
- Unique control and character The unique DSP circuitry offered by the HF Compressor only compresses high-frequencies and in doing so introduces a tape-like top-end roll-off that tames undesirable brittleness or harshness that can build up in a mix or track. To present simplicity and ease of use some of the common compressor parameters such as attack release and ratio have all been fixed in the design and are optimised for the clearest transparency. LED and graph The tri-colour LED provides an intuitive and quick indication of how much compression is happening. The main graph shows the input signal and compression over time so you can get all the information you need at-a-glance when dialling in your parameters. Auto Gain By introducing an automatic makeup gain to specifically the compressed frequencies you can introduce more of the compressed signal. Youll hear more of the compressors envelope taming harshness while maintaining high-end transients that sounds great with highly transient signals such as drums.
