- Just like its predecessor, the 76 MkII from Solid Gold FX pays tribute to various classic fuzz and muff stomps by Univox Super Fuzz, Ibanez Standard Fuzz, Ace Tone Fuzz Master and Shin-Ei Companion. This second-gen edition boasts a more reliable build and parts than any of the original vintage units, as well as a new silicone octave fuzz, a soft-touch true bypass footswitch, four Hi-Gain Toshida transistors and a new JFET preamp. And did we mention the new top-mounted jack ports? The 76 MkII: Mega-Flexible Seventies-Style Fuzz The Level and Fuzz pots speak for themselves, but the Colour pot toggles three different frequency ranges, allowing you to select the optimum fuzz-foundation before zooming in on the mid-range with the Texture pot, or using the Octave switch to add that classic octave-edge.
