- The Sony RM-VPR1 Remote Commander is a cable release with multi-terminal cable which allows you to release the shutter of your Sony NEX
- SLR and Cyber-Shot cameras, as well as control the zoom and start/stop record button for a Sony Handycam camcorder. A vibration-free shutter release makes all the difference when you need to keep the camera really still for close-up and long exposure photography. The shutter lock (bulb) function lets you keep the shutter open for striking night-time scenes, light painting and smooth seascapes. Easily clip the remote to your camera or camcorder's tripod for handy and quick operation. The cable comes with a multi-terminal cable and is powered from the camera via accessory shoe and AA Alkaline battery. This remote is not compatible with the Sony RX100, but works fine with the RX100 II version.
