- With the SM3543 brace repair jack from StewMac, you can glue loose braces into a guitar in an easy way. You insert this tool through the sound hole and turn with your fingertips to clamp braces in place. Thanks to the use of brass, which has enough weight, this repair jack stays neatly in place while you adjust the height. The height is adjustable between 73 and 111 millimetres. The end caps measure 22.23 millimetres in diameter and are made of glue-resistant polyethylene. They are double notched so they fit most common profiles such as Martin braces and Gibson braces, for example.
