- This SM4242 Original Bullet guitar jack tightener is the perfect tool to quickly tighten loose jacks during a gig. The compact little tool is easy to use and suitable for 1/2-inch or approximately 12.7 millimetre nuts. You can tighten the jack from the outside without having to dismantle your guitar or amplifier. You place the head of this tool over the nut and then press the rubber Grip-Tip into the jack to hold it firmly in place. Then turn the lever to tighten and the jack is secured.
