Smooth and warm analog sound Experience the smoothness and warmth of analog tape with Decos Tape Saturation side. This feature allows you to give your tracks the rich qualities of vintage tape machines. With familiar tape compression and saturation Deco can add depth and character to your audio. The plugins harmonically rich low-end and reduced high-frequency spikes create a pleasing and balanced sound. Engineers used to say that "everything sounds better on tape" and now you can bring that legendary sound to your music. Whether you want to add subtle saturation and compression or crank up the saturation for tape-style transparent overdrive Decos Tape Saturation side has you covered. Dial in your perfect tone Decos Tape Saturation side offers a wide range of controls to help you achieve your desired sound. The Saturation control allows you to dial in everything from light and transparent saturation to smooth and overdriven tape distortion. With an adjustable Volume control you can balance the final output to ensure your mix is just right. The dedicated Tone knob lets you adjust the frequency response from darker to brighter giving you even more control over the tone of your tracks. The Voice switch offers two settings - Classic and Cassette - each providing its own unique characteristics. The Classic setting replicates the response and saturation of professional reel-to-reel tape machines while the Cassette setting emulates the fat and musically compressed tone of high-end cassette tape recorders from the 70s. Intensify and widen your tracks Decos Doubletracker controls allow you to intensify and widen your tracks with ease. The Lag Time control is the key to achieving mind-bending tape flanging spacious doubletrack chorusing and classic slapback tape echo effects. By adjusting the Lag Time you can create a wide variety of tape-based effects from subtle movement to extreme undulations. The Blend control lets you set the mix level between Decos Reference and Lag Decks giving you control over the doubletracking effect. The Wobble knob adds random tape speed-based modulations to the Lag Deck allowing you to add depth and movement to your sound. Broaden your sound Decos Wide Stereo feature allows you to create a wider stereo image for your tracks. By sending the mono input to both the left and right channels Deco creates an adjustable stereo spread. The Blend control acts as a pan control allowing you to adjust the relative levels of the two tape decks. This broadens and intensifies the impact of your tracks in the stereo field adding depth and dimension to your mix. Whether you want to create a wide immersive sound or add a touch of spaciousness Decos Wide Stereo mode is a powerful tool. Seamless through-zero flange effect With Decos Auto Flange feature you can achieve a recording studio-inspired through-zero flange effect with a click of a button. This engages a "virtual audio engineer" who dynamically adjusts the faders and tape reels to create a smooth and predictable through-zero flange experience. By adding this effect to your tracks you can take your sound to new heights and add a touch of vintage charm. More headroom for better mixes Decos Studio Mode provides an additional 10dB of headroom for use in your digital audio workstation.
