- This is the Suhr Aldrich Humbucker Bridge 50mm. This is a Doug Aldrich signature 17.5 kOhm Alnico V Special bridge element, intended for and especially suited to solidbody electric guitars. The alnico 5 magnet base allows you to enjoy a big guitar sound with tight trebles and a well-focused midrange with this pickup. The high mids also come to the fore well with still a sweet rounding and without sounding too shrill. The close collaboration between Doug and Suhr have produced a bridge humbucker that allows you to perform tight and solid riff work as well as screaming leads with those wonderfully wild bends. The modern 4-wire cable also allows you to coil-split or even parallel this guitar pickup as well. With this signature bridge pickup with its hefty output from the ex-Whitesnake and Dio guitarist, you can obviously do excellent rock and metal.
