- This is the Suhr Aldrich Humbucker Neck. This is a Doug Aldrich signature 9.0 kOhm Alnico V Special neck pickup, intended for and especially suited to solidbody electric guitars. With this pickup, the alnico 5 magnet puts warm, big and bright sounds at your disposal, with excellent tonal balance from string to string. All this with output that is quite a bit higher than many neck humbuckers, while your guitar sounds never get muddy and come out tight enough. Doug and Suhr have specially developed this neck pickup and of course meticulously calibrated it to work excellently together are high output signature bridge variant. The modern 4-core cable also allows this guitar element to be coil-split or even paralleled. This powerful signature neck pickup from the ex-Whitesnake and Dio guitarist is an excellent choice for styles such as rock and metal.
