- All drum shells are made from walnut and feature 6 plies
- 5 mm thick for the tom toms and floor tom, and 7 plies
- 6 mm thick for the bass drum
- All Star drumshells include a special bearing edge, featuring a 3.5 mm peak position from the outermost ply-layer, thus ensuring optimal contact for the drumhead and drum
- The inner plies/bearing edges of each drumshell have been hand-oiled for a luxurious finish
- The tom toms are equipped with the new Super Resonant Mounting System in combination with the new Quick-Lock tom brackets
- Floor tom legs feature a soft rubber construction, designed to absorb vibrations
- Bass drum spurs are a unique 2-piece construction and feature large rubber feet
- Hardware lugs and bass drum claw hooks offer minimal contact to the drum shell
- All tom drum shells feature diecast hoops
- Remo Ambassador Coated batter heads feature on the tom toms and floor tom / Remo Ambassador Clear for the resonant drumhead
- The Remo Powerstroke 3 Coated batter head features on the bass drum / Remo PowerStroke 3 Fiberskyn Diplomat on the front resonant side
