- All drum shells are made from walnut and feature 6 plies
- 5 mm thick for the tom toms and floor tom, and 7 plies
- 6 mm thick for the bass drum
- All Star drumshells include a special bearing edge, featuring a 3.5 mm peak position from the outermost ply-layer, thus ensuring optimal contact between the drumhead and the shell
- The inner plies/bearing edges of each drumshell feature a luxurious hand-applied oil finish
- The tom toms are equipped with the new Super Resonant Mounting System in combination with the new Quick-Lock tom brackets
- Floor tom legs feature a soft rubber construction, designed to absorb vibrations
- Bass drum spurs are a unique 2-piece construction - Metal spikes are separated from the rest of the spur by rubber
- Hardware lugs and bass drum claw hooks offer minimal contact to the drum shell
- All tom drum shells feature diecast hoops
- Drumheads: Tom toms and floor tom: Remo Ambassador Coated on the batter side / Remo Ambassador Clear on the resonant side
