It's equipped with a range of features that will help you to produce stunning images and crystal-clear video footage. A maximum aperture of f2.8 across the entire 4.1x zoom ratio provides comprehensive control of depth of field and enables superb optical performance in low-light conditions. The lens is equipped with Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism which provides a strong and reliable image stabilisation, and there's also an RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor unit which offers fast and near-silent AF performance.
