- Available in either a Full-HD or 4K version, this unit is a versatile and flexible live stream encoder and recorder. Streaming and recording in high-resolution, this unit provides both an HDMI input and output and will stream via RTSP and RTMP. It offers both analogue 3.5mm audio input and output, and a bit rate of up to 30Mb/s. Compatibility with the Tascam Discovery app further increases its versatility, allowing multiple VS-R units connected to the network to be managed from a Web-browser based GUI. You can record directly to a USB stick or SD card using the font-panel slots, as well as recorded files can be automatically uploaded to an FTP server. This is an impressive piece of kit and is ideal for a range of uses including corporate, education, house of worship, government use.
