An extra boost The V550s built-in boost circuitry adds not only an extra 5 dB of gain but a distinctive mid-boost that accurately represents the sound and feel of stacking an overdrive pedal either before or after your amp with a switchable pre or post-position. Official cabinet simulation To add that final touch of polish this preamp pedal comes with an official Celestion cabinet simulator emulating the classically massive 4 x 12 cabinets the amp that inspired this pedal always came with. This recreates the tone of Celestions G12M Greenback speakers used in some of the more classic large 4 x 12 cabs for even more authenticity. Its individual DI output makes it easy to run directly into PA systems when playing live or audio interfaces when recording at home.
