A Character knob allows you to draw from a wide range of different timbres. Moreover, the VT Bass DI is equipped with XLR and parallel outputs, phantom power, two pad switches and a Bite knob, for a presence boost and subsonic filter. The Blend control allows you to adjust the balance between the dry signal and the SansAmp.
