From start to finish Theo Wanne mouthpieces are built in the Theo Wanne factory in Bellingham USA. About Theo Wanne Theo Wanne is a modern expert on new and vintage woodwind mouthpiece design. Theo worked as a saxophone repair technician under the direction of master refacer Bob Carpenter - a pioneer of mouthpiece refacing and repairs. Theo soon gained a reputation within the saxophone world and in 1998 opened Saxophone Mouthpiece Heaven - his own online music store and knowledge database. In 2007 Theo started to design and manufacture his own line of mouthpieces en masse working with famous musicians such as Joshua Redman Chris Potter and Eric Alexander. Theo is constantly studying and innovating his designs ensuring his mouthpieces allow musicians to create their best tone - as easily as possible. Theo Wanne now has a reputation for crafting some of the best saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces using the worlds most advanced manufacturing techniques. This ligature was rated best in the world by "The Sax" magazine when they tested every available ligature on the market. With only three points of contact on your mouthpiece the ligature allows for incredible resonance and an instant response. Also included is a beautiful leatherette case perfect for protecting your new mouthpiece when not in use. The Ambika 3 also comes with a Theo Wanne mouthpiece cap - an incredibly secure design which protects the tip of your mouthpiece from drops and knocks.
