- The WA-14 by Warm Audio has a warm low and satin-smooth high just like the Austrian studio classic it was based on. It has a Cinemag transformer and vintage LK-12-B-60V capsule as well as a versatile character thanks to the three pickup patterns. Cardioid is sufficient for most situations but the bidirectional and omnidirectional options make this condenser large-diaphragm studio microphone ready for anything. With the attenuation pad of -10 or -20dB pad, you can also use it for louder instruments such as drums and electric guitar.
