Since it offers an astronomical 80dBs of gain, this preamp can handle ribbon microphones, or can even be used to overdrive the incoming signal. Basically, the harder you push this preamp, the warmer the sound gets. To pull it back to an acceptable level for your converters, simply use the provided output pot.
