- The strings in this Warwick EMP Coated 38210 ML 4 Stainless Steel 40-100 set have diameters from .040 to .100 inches, making them rather light and therefore easy to press. They are made entirely of stainless steel and give your bass a tight and clear sound with strongly pronounced mids but still enough low end. Moreover, the strings are very durable, as they have been treated with an EMP (Enhanced Molecular Protection) coating, which is an ultra-thin protective layer that repels dirt and prevents corrosion. So they last extra long and also stay sounding like new.
