- The Warwick EMP Coated 38400 ML 6 Nickel-Plated Steel 20-130 string set is suitable for 6-string electric bass guitar. The strings have a hexagonal core wire with roundwound windings of nickel-plated steel around it. This creates a nice and full sound with a tight midrange but also deep lows.
