As a dedicated 2-way centre speaker it uses dual 5-inch polypropylene bass drivers in a sealed cabinet to deliver controlled midrange performance helping voices remain focused and easy to follow. The closed box design keeps timing tight which is especially important for speech during fast moving film and TV scenes. High frequencies are handled by a 25mm textile dome tweeter that provides smooth detail without drawing attention to itself. With high sensitivity and an 8 ohm load the Diamond 12.Ci works comfortably with a wide range of AV receivers even at moderate power levels. Its balanced tuning allows it to integrate cleanly with other Diamond 12i speakers giving your system a coherent front soundstage that keeps dialogue firmly anchored to the screen.
