The shells are ideal for any styles of playing offering a consistently rich tone whether you are playing at minimum or maximum volume levels. YESS III Tom Mount Yamaha have implemented their advanced YESS III mounting technology offering reduced acoustic dampening and allowing you to get the best sound out of your drums. The mounts allow the shells to vibrate more freely bringing out the best of the shells natural sustain and volume. Hook Lugs The Yamaha Hybrid Shell Pack features classic hook lugs offering effortless head replacement alongside precision tuning and even high-tension tuning. The lugs were designed to maximise tone output from the hybrid shells featuring a small form factor for minimal interference. With a polished chrome finish the lugs match the rest of the shell hardware whilst complementing the overall look and aesthetic of the kit. Bearing Edge Shape The Absolute Maple Hybrid Shell Pack features a bass drum with a bearing edge angle different to that of the tom and snare shells. A 30°
- /R1.5 edge is used on the bass drum offering enhanced low and mid frequencies for a more powerful sound to accompany the higher frequencies produced by the toms and snare. The combination of bearing edges results in a stunning tonal balance across the entire kit.
