Combined these pickups produce the classic vintage BB sound delivering a well-balanced tone with excellent articulation. Theyve been updated to create a brighter sound so basses can cut through the mix during performances. A single tone control and two volume controls provide versatile tone shaping allowing you to dial in the perfect sound for their playing. Designed for excellence Crafted from lightweight alder the BB 434 produces a smooth and deep bass tone packed with a beefy midrange and a slightly sizzling high end. Its strong and full-bodied works well with the brightness of the maple adding plenty of depth to the overall tone. Its combination of maple and mahogany offer an incredible stability offering the best of both tone woods for a bright and mellow sound. The neck has been designed with an incredibly thin profile improving its playability and attached to the body with a 6-bolt miter joint.
