The Z is crafted so it meets players highest expectations. This new model has been re-examined from the neck to the bell and is now equipped with a one-piece bell for increased resonance and the popular V1 neck for optimal combination of response and control. The Z plays evenly in all ranges and gives a huge dynamic range for as much - or as little - sound as the player wants. The Custom V1 neck helps produce a quick and agile response whilst key action and placement feel just right. Players can create whatever style of tone theyre after from vintage to contemporary. Without the high F# key The Yamaha YAS82ZULWOF02 Custom Z Saxophone comes without the high F# key providing a greater and more efficient response. It also provides a better resonance and deeper timbre. High quality materials & reliable mechanisms The YAS82ZULWOF02 has a one-piece bell which features an improved low end response now capable of producing a wider palette of tonal colour. This bell comes with an elaborate hand engraved design which looks much more delicate than previous models. The metal resonators produce an outstanding response and provides a much wider dynamic range therefore the entire range of the instrument now has a clearer pronunciation providing effortless playability all around. The highly regarded wide bore taper of the V1 neck produces a free-blowing feel and great flexibility. The YAS82ZULWOF02 features an improved mechanism from low B-C# connection. This ensures the consistent closing of the low C# key and introduces a clearer response from notes in the lower range of the instrument. Better response and a more cohesive tone are the result of a lighter thumb rest and hook base design.
