The ideal placement and size of the laser generated cut-outs in this cymbal have been meticulously calculated by the people at Zildjian. These holes give the cymbal its unique trashiness, whit a short, dry sound and a quick response. This makes the EFX cymbals especially well suited for short, punctuating accents.
