Featuring an easy blowing leadpipe the Besson BE157 produces a fabulous tone while retaining the traditional Besson sound. The tuning of the horn has also been developed to ensure consistent and accurate intonation. To ensure that your valves are consistently fast moving Besson has made the valves from quality stainless steel. All the tuning slides on the BE157 are made from brass. This is especially important as it keeps the slides smooth a free-moving. Besson have even included a lyra hook for the all-important summer marching season. All of these features come together to produce a horn that is worthy of any beginner player. Redefining Standards The Prodige series of instruments from Besson are designed to redefine the student market. These instruments have been created to provide great sounding beginner instruments that are also reliable practical and hard wearing. Thanks to the very desirable price the Prodige series of instruments have become popular among teachers and are regularly bought for training bands and educational authorities. To keep the horn safe the BE157 comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case you will find two riveted handles and a large pocket which is perfect for sheet music. Moulded especially for the BE157 the Prodige baritone fits perfectly inside the case. For an extra touch of protection the inside is lined with a soft touch material that wont scratch your horn. At the front of the case you will find a compartment which is ideal for storing all of your accessories including your mouthpiece valve oil and lyre.
