Product Fundamentals
- DAddario Kaplan Kaplan double bass strings feature a core made of steel wires braided together to allow for both strength and flexibility. The G string is wound with titanium which adds a brightness well suited to the highest string on the double bass. The D and A strings are wound with nickel a common winding for strings due to its durability and resistance to corrosion. The E string is wound with tungsten which is an ideal material for the lowest string due to it density. Medium tension These strings are medium tension and strike a balance between the projection of heavier strings and the increased stamina youd find on lighter strings. The medium tension will also respond well to the bow as well. Specifications String: E Core: Stranded steel Winding: Tungsten Tension: Medium Double bass size: 3/4
