The 85-7H is based on that first legendary 85 pickup from EMG. This powerful and rich element for your 7-string guitar uses closely spaced coils and Alnico V magnets for versatile and impressive guitar tones. This will give you both a powerful rhythm growl and nice smooth leads for music styles from blues to even the most extreme form of metal. Although the 85 is often used in the neck position, this 7-string passive mount variant is also an excellent choice for the bridge position. This pickup fits well with almost any other EMG humbucker. The solder-free wiring and included accessories make installation of this humbucker easier than ever.
