[/close] Own a piece of studio history By successfully recreating the distinctive sound of two tapes flanging out of time the Eventide Instant Phaser began the studio effects revolution back in 1972 and is still ongoing today. Using the very first hardware unit ever produced the Instant Phaser Mk II plug-in delivers the unmistakable sound full of vintage character and personality smooth modulations and musicality. Benefiting from the advances in the digital domain the functionality of the Mk II plug-in has been enhanced over what was possible on the original hardware thanks to the "age" dial. This lets you drastically change the tone of your phaser from the original sound of the 70s and further beyond to find the right spot for your mix as well as host BPM sync input and output gain controls and side-chain control. Aged not old Analog hardware is not all the same even two units of the original Instant Phaser would not sound identical in part due to the components drifting from their original design and production where the values may change with age. The Instant Phaser Mk II Digital Delivery captures the imprecise character of the hardware by implementing the Age dial an innovative feature that allows you to simulate the ageing of components of the phase shift networks and the LFO to subtly change the sound and feel of your phaser. In doing this you can find the right sound for the music and instrument you are working with to make it genre and era-appropriate. Four phase settings and three modes The Instant Phaser Mk II features four distinct ways to phase including Manual Oscillator Envelope and Remote. In Manual mode you are in control! Explore precise automation of parameters to control the phasing. In Oscillator mode this modulates the phasing at a constant rate set by you. Envelope mode changes the phase behaviour whenever your signal passes a specified threshold allowing you to use your Side-chain control. Lastly Remote lets you control your phasing with a modulation wheel on a traditional keyboard or MIDI controller for tactile manipulation of your sound. Presenting three different modes the Instant Phaser Mk II offers you three unique sonic characteristics that alter the amount of phase-shifting sections to craft the perfect tone for your music. Shallow Deep and Wide all achieve a different depth and rate of phasing where Shallow provides a gentle and subtle phasing that adds texture and space to your tracks Deep shifts up a gear and creates the signature crashing wave effect and Wide gives you a different amount of phase-shifting within your left and right channels to transform flat mono guitars into huge stereo leads.
