Product Description
- Real Weighted Hammer action 3 Experience some of the most realistic feeling keys in such a compact instrument. Korgs Japanese-made RH3 keybed recreates the touch of a grand pianos different hammers by making the lower keys feel heavier and the higher keys progressively feel less heavy. Such natural-feeling keys will be greatly appreciated if you are used to playing an acoustic piano. 30 high quality sounds No matter the genre of music you are playing the Korg D1 will have a suitable sound. The sounds include keyboard instruments like the clavichord harpsichord electric piano rock organ and pipe organ. Its not just keyboard instruments though you can even play the vibraphone acoustic guitar and strings as well. If you want to add more colour to your sound then the inbuilt brilliance reverb and chorus effects will add that extra touch of character you need. Each sound is meticulously sampled for extra realism. There are four samples depending on the dynamic you are playing allowing a realistic tone regardless of whether youre playing pianissimo or fortissimo. Other details that you would only hear on an acoustic piano are also included. The subtle sounds that occur when you release a key and the sound of the strings resonating when you press the damper pedal down both contribute to an amazingly realistic-sounding instrument. External connections All the connections are located on the rear of the D1 on a neatly laid out panel. Stereo outputs allow you to plug into a wide range of mixers PA systems or interfaces. A jack for the included damper pedal is also located on this panel. You can control a wide selection of external synths or control your piano from another keyboard via the full size MIDI in and out ports. If you have a USB to MIDI converter you can even control your Korg D1 from your computer. Specifications Keyboard: 88 key (A0&ndash
