This overdrive is specially designed as a touch-sensitive pedal and via the focus control you can adjust the feel and dynamics yourself. The degree of distortion is determined by how firmly you hit and by the power of the pickups. Want more overdrive? Then play a bit firmer. And if you want a more clean sound, play a bit softer. When the amp passes a clean signal, you will only get a slight overdrive. If the amp is already overdriving, this pedal will add to the effect.
