- finish, which is created after the hihats are chemically treated and dry sanded with sand. The hats are fully hand-hammered and are made from a B25 bronze alloy, which is a typical alloy for Masterwork cymbals. You can expect a warm, mellow sound with plenty of layering. The 16-inch size also makes these hi-hats perfect for use as an effect cymbal.
