Product Fundamentals
  • Superior sound-quality The critical factor with any mixer is guaranteeing it sounds good
  • the Midas M32R LIVE Digital Mixing Console uses a host of features to ensure this is always the case. The constant high-frequency bandwidth circuitry assures superb stability RF rejection and noise performance at any gain level helping deliver its transparent and dynamically expressive sound. The 5 main display visualises your sound and makes control remarkably easy. It includes a 100-band Real Time Analyser (RTA) with full bar and spectrograph views letting you quickly see how your filtering and mixing choices affect the sound. Rest assured knowing that regardless of settings the pristine reproduction capabilities will keep the sound consistently flawless. Iconic preamp The microphone preamplifiers are the very same ones used in the Midas XL4 and HERITAGE 3000 consoles which many consider to be the greatest analogue live mixers ever created. Good start. Its design eliminates any imbalances of gain-setting stages improving the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and harmonic distortion to almost negligible levels. When driven however the immaculate reproduction gives way to just the right combination of harmonics. An organic sound heard by millions and recorded on countless live albums gives this mixer a distinctive and iconic feel. Extensive effects A plethora of options to expand your sound. Integrated are 16 effects plugins giving you instant access to a myriad of effects combinations that would be ridiculously expensive to obtain in hardware-form. The Virtual FX rack features 8 true-stereo studio-grade effects engines each assignable to any input group or output mix bus. Choose from high-end completely re-imagined FX algorithms including a range of reverbs delays EQs dynamics and much more. Finally the M32R LIVE can now run 4 studio-quality stereo reverbs together with 8 channels of 31-band graphic EQ demonstrating just how powerful this mixer can be.
