Product Fundamentals
  • Ever popular, this pedalboard mainstay from MXR brings back that throwback seventies rock sound. The MXR M104 Distortion+ pedal is home to a classic set of germanium diodes that deliver the warm, raw and delicious sound of a vintage valve amplifier. Fans of this unique little stompbox include guitarists like Dave Murray from Iron Maiden and Randy Rhoads. Controlling the M104 Distortion+ As clear-cut as the sound, the control panel of the M104 Distortion+ has a simple two-pot layout. Twist the Distortion pot to set the intensity and use the Output pot to set the volume level. What you get in return is a classic heavy-metal and rock worthy effect that supports both chords and solos with everything from a subtle, frayed edge to all-out, blasting distortion. This yellow box can be powered with either a 9V battery or a standard 9V power supply.
