- Flexible sonic manipulation Traditional filtering is presented in the form of low and high-pass filters with selectable 6 or 12dB/oct slopes. A more creative filter option is employed using the Vocal filter type with frequency and vowel parameters. This Vocal filter allows you to experiment with quasi-speech-like character injecting new and exciting delay timbres that are ideal for your cinematic soundscapes for silver screen productions. For more creative sound design a Frequency Shifter is included capable of working with positive or negative frequencies. Using the frequency shifter will add a slight tuning variation between the repeats and your original source adding depth and separation between dry and wet signals. The frequency shift parameter can work in combination with the delay feedback control creating dynamic shifting that evolves with each repeat. Perfect for a TV or film vocal performance the subtle doppler effect can create demonic vocal textures that add suspense and tension to your scene. Commonplace in vintage tape delays is the crunching saturation as a result of tape degradation and analog components. The inclusion of the Distort parameter lets you simulate this saturation but can go much further entering the realm of complete sonic destruction making your original sound unrecognisable. Not typical of any delay plugin DelSane employs an audio follower side-chain input that can be used to modulate parameters within the plugin. With this parameters can be automatically adjusted based on the incoming signals threshold level you set. A smoothing dial lets you control how abrupt or sleek the parameter adjustments will be. An ideal solution for dynamic tones DelSane will react to even the most delicate violin vocal or piano performances and still allow you to implement automated modulation for interesting and exciting repeats. Introduce chaos with Disrupt slider Unquestionably the most unique section about DelSane is the Disrupter section. Presented by a spinning sphere the Disrupt parameter offers a new experience to the age-old delay effect. An innovative section Disrupt aims to change the way that delay can be utilised within a production. The spherical slider can be connected to various delay parameters allowing you to morph and evolve your delay characteristic in a highly dynamic and creative way. Everything from chaotic adjustments of feedback crosstalk distortion or even frequency shifting ensures that no matter what your source tone is DelSane will be able to take it to a new plane to spark interest from your listeners. There are several ways in which you can perform with your Disrupt slider. Clicking in various places or dragging the sphere between the axis offer manual control over your morphing whilst a Lazy Mode allows you to take a back seat and let DelSane automatically move your position. Packaged in a tempo-synced format DelSane offers you the ability to select the Spring return of your sphere back to a neutral position based on the tempo of your song to always remain on the beat.
