Product Fundamentals
- Semi-modular monosynth Combining both the original Model 101 synthesizer and Model 102 expander modules the System-100 Virtual Instrument gives you the full range of semi-modular sounds to explore. A true gamechanger the System-100 virtual instrument contains modular patching capabilities to drastically increase your options for sound design. The pairing of Model 101 and Model 102 expander in the System-100 Virtual Instrument gives you two VCOs and two LFOs to work with as well as sample and hold ring modulation and a noise generator that work seamlessly together without the need for physical patching to create warm and fat basses punchy lead lines and exotic soundscapes. A true dream for all sound designers the System-100 Virtual Instrument lets you alter the signal path by adjusting parameters through connecting cables between the patch points virtually for an almost endless supply of sounds to escape into. A 14x15 Routing Matrix makes for quick and easy patching with all the connections visually displayed in the control panel with a toggle on/off to easily view the entire signal flow. Faith recreation of a classic The Roland System-100 Virtual Instrument features the latest generation of the renowned Analog Circuit Behaviour (ACB) component-level modelling technology. The sound of this legendary instrument is perfectly reproduced and brought to life faithfully capturing the sound feel and detail by a part-by-part analysis of each analog circuit. To keep up with the modern production needs several additions have been implemented to complement the design and features of the original without compromising the sound and charm such as modern effects like reverb delay and a lush phaser and a tempo-synced arpeggiator with advanced pattern scattering. Six arpeggio types with six settings combine to create an almost limitless selection of patterns creating an otherworldly experience perfectly suited to modern sound design. Hardware integration Featuring the ability to be used as a plug-in in your favourite DAW as well as a Plug-out in select Roland hardware synthesizers pushes the envelope for what is possible with sound design and creation. - By connecting to a System-1/1m to your computer it becomes a dedicated controller to give you a hands-on interaction with your instrument making it perfect for the live performer to save sounds and presets and carry your sounds with you wherever you go. With the SYSTEM-1m you can even use the physical audio and CV/Gate patch points on the hardware with any of the available PLUG-OUT synths. This means semi-modular versions of classic Roland synths are now possible. Pairing the SYSTEM-100 with the SYSTEM-1m gives you dedicated high-resolution controls and both virtual and physical routing and modulation capabilities. The results are simply mind-bending.
