- The Sennheiser MKH 8018 is a compact stereo shotgun microphone for professional film and TV productions. Its three stereo modes give you ample options for both quick reporting and extensive post-production capabilities. For quick results, you can choose from XY-n mode for a narrow stereo image or XY-w for a spectacular wide stereo image. In MS mode, you record the suparcardioid and figure-8 capsules separately so you can adjust the width of the stereo image afterwards in post-processing. Thanks to its RF capacitor technology, the MKH 8018 can withstand high humidity and extreme temperatures. If you want to make uncompromising recordings in the jungle or on Greenland, the MKH 8018 is your ideal ally.
