- The Sennheiser MKH 8018 is a compact stereo shotgun microphone for professional film and TV productions. Its three stereo modes give you ample options for both quick reporting and extensive post-production capabilities. For quick results, you can choose from XY-n mode for a narrow stereo image or XY-w for a spectacular wide stereo image. In MS mode, you record the suparcardioid and figure-8 capsules separately so you can adjust the width of the stereo image afterwards in post-processing. Thanks to its RF capacitor technology, the MKH 8018 can withstand high humidity and extreme temperatures.
