Product Description
- Twin engine reverb Conventionally reverb plug-ins will offer one engine that is comprised of pre-delay and reverb tail parameters that are intertwined together and cant be controlled independently. Oxford Reverb sets to change how you view reverb by offering two distinct engines that power the early reflections and reverb tail independently with the option to blend between both engines seamlessly. The system presents a new standard for reverb plug-ins allowing you to control the physical properties of the space along with the positioning of the sound source within the room. Within the Early Reflections section you are in complete control of the physical space where your sound source is placed in. Four different shapes of rooms from a square horizontal and vertical rectangles of differing sizes change the reflection patterns and are used alongside a position size width taper and feed along control to define the location of your source within the room. Also included is a dynamic absorption parameter that responds to the incoming audio sources frequency response to tailor the response of high frequencies in your room. This can be boosted to simulate materials being introduced to the room to stop virtual reflections across the surfaces of your space. Presented with all of the most common parameters the reverb tail segment of the Oxford Reverb plug-in is ideal for controlling the sustain space and depth within your sound. The reverb tail can be expanded to a large degree for very long and natural decays. Additional controls are included with the overall size phase diff and modulation along with stereo enhancement tools diversity and dispersion. The same dynamic absorption algorithm is included in the early reflections segment to alter the high-frequency content of your sound. Dive into production with factory presets Essential for reverb plug-ins the stereo modelling techniques within Oxford Reverb deliver a wide range of spaces that you can experiment with. Partitioned into over 100 useful presets Oxford Reverb lets you dive into production as a jumping-off point before tweaking to suit your needs. Typical spaces including halls rooms and chambers are all present as well as instrument-specific presets for drums and vocals. Perfect for quickly getting acquainted with what Oxford Reverb has to offer the presets cover every likely eventuality you will face when mixing a common production. Not only useful for music production Oxford Reverb includes a wide range of post-production and ambience presets to help add space and depth for media uses in TV film and game. Here you will find sounds ranging from libraries gyms corridors elevators rooms and much more. Tweak your sound with EQ A not-so-secret to the big-time professionals is adding EQ to your reverb. Most rooms halls or spaces that are used in reverb plug-ins are not acoustically optimised for every instrument. They are recorded and chosen for their character and their reverb tail that defines the overall sound of the reverb. Its for this reason that the five-band parametric EQ onboard Oxford Reverb is ideal for carving a space within your mix or to be used to blend between the reverb and audio source seamlessly. Ideal when used on an insert channel the five-band EQ has been taken from the powerful Oxford EQ processor using the same algorithms for a natural and powerful tone. When used as an insert you no longer need to worry about complex routing to EQ the wet reverb signal in your audio instead it can be done directly within the plug-in. Each of the five bands features gain Q-factor and frequency controls as well as both shelves and 12dB/oct filters for the low and high bands. You may have found the perfect reverb character for your vocal with a complex midrange and beautiful decay but find its not bright enough to cut through and blend with your vocal track. Adding a tough of high-frequency boost can bring your reverb to life and cut through a mix to be heard above the rest of the instruments. Add space and vibe to your dry recordings For any music producer you will understand the importance of reverb within a mix. It helps to give dimension space width and realism to sound sources that could otherwise sound too dry monotonous and lifeless. Reverb is a unique effect in that its sole purpose is not to be used to transform a sound from one thing to another as is the case with phasers or flangers but instead it needs to serve the performance and enhance what is already there. Because of this reverb needs to highlight the musicality and melody in what you are performing and this is exactly where Oxford Reverb shines. Instruments recorded in dry rooms with little to no room microphone influence can benefit from the natural ambience that Oxford Reverb can bring to your tracks. Whether youre looking to add extra decay to a drum kit or add a natural ambience to a vocal track recorded in a dead room Sonnox Reverb can do it all. FeaturesStereo modelling design allows for control over more parameters than what would typically be available with convolution reverbs Create unique spaces and reshape your sound in an almost infinite number of ways Five-band parametric EQ each with frequency Q-factor and gain parameters Shelving and 12dB/Oct filtering for low and high bands EQ can help to customise your space for your track as each track will have a different character Sectioned into operational parameters giving you flexible control over the early reflections EQ reverb tail input and output Blend naturally between the reverb mix and the early reflections to hear the influence of the reverb sustain on your sound Early reflections are presented as a separate engine allowing you to completely customise the sound of the room before the reverb tail ideal for deciding where your sound sits within a space Add width depth and space to your mix Includes over 100 presets spanning a wide range of tones ranging from rooms halls chambers or instrument-specific presets such as vocal and much more Ideal for music production as well as sound design Customise the shape of the virtual room from square to horizontal or vertical rectangular to adjust the natural character of the reverb tail Wet/Dry slider to blend in parallel in insert tracks with Mix Lock function to lock the slider value across all preset changes Pairs seamlessly to your source audio for smooth and transparent space within your mix Dynamic absorption algorithms offer more flexibility than static EQs to alter the upper-range frequency response of your space Specifications System requirementsOperating system:MacOS: OS X 10.8 or later - M1 compatible using Rosetta 2 Windows: Windows 7 or later Format:Mac: AAX AAX-DSP AU VST2 & VST3 Windows: AAX AAX-DSP VST2 & VST3 Supported hosts:Mac: Pro Tools 10.3.8 &ndash
