The fingerboard is made from ebony this is another sign of quality as cheaper instruments often dont feature ebony fingerboards ebony construction makes this more durable and offers a superior tone colour. The tuning pegs are also made of ebony - matching the fingerboard. The bow is full mounted so there is less friction and wear and tear between the frog and the stick.
