Product Fundamentals
  • Authentic and detailed recreation The most important element of an amp simulation pedal is how realistic it sounds and feels and the JIMS 45 delivers this in spades. Its dual-channel architecture allows you to crank up the gain for some classic metal and rock tones heard throughout the decades or you can focus on a single channel and achieve some lightly driven vintage blues tones right from the 60s. Individual volume EQ and gain controls allow you to stack amplification stages your way as well as a master presence control to get the tone and feel of the real deal on your pedalboard. An extra boost The JIM 45s built-in boost circuitry adds not only an extra 5 dB of gain but a distinctive mid-boost that accurately represents the sound and feel of stacking an overdrive pedal either before or after your amp with a switchable pre or post position. Official cabinet simulation To add that final touch of polish this preamp pedal comes with an official Celestion cabinet simulator emulating the classically massive 4 x 12 cabinets the amp that inspired this pedal always came with. This recreates the tone of Celestions G12M Creamback speakers usually used in cabinets throughout the 60s and 70s for even more authenticity. Its individual DI output makes it easy to run directly into PA systems when playing live or audio interfaces when recording at home. Features Dual-channel preamp pedal inspired by a legendary British tube amp from the 1960s Individual gain EQ and volume controls per channel for clean and high gain tones or stacking both channels Built-in 5 dB boost with mid-forward voicing to replicate adding an overdrive pedal with the amp Boost switchable between pre or post-amp for extra flexible tone Dedicated DI output with official Celestion cabinet simulation for extra authenticity Cabinet simulation recreates the sound of a 4 x 12 cabinet loaded with G12M Creamback speakers DI output ideal for connecting directly to PA systems or audio interfaces Headphone output for silent practice sessions Master presence control adds distinctive high-frequency burn to adjust for your setup and room Bypass or always on channel footswitch modes for extra flexibility TC AMPWORX modeling technology provides low latency for responsive feel while playing Works excellently with other pedals to create the exact sound you want Specifications Product Code: JIMS 45 PREAMP Controls: Normal Channel Gain High Channel Gain Level Bass Mid Treble Presence Boost Channel Switch Boost Pre/Post switch Input: 1 x 1/4" TS Outputs: 2 x 1/4" TRS (Main Out and DI) 1 x 3.5 mm jack (Phones) Dimensions (L x W x H): 185 x 186 x 103 mm (7.3 x 7.3 x 4.1") Weight: 0.50 kg (1.1 lbs)
