- The Topping D10S Desktop DAC is a USB-powered converter for your digital USB devices. This is a perfect companion to your laptop tablet or smartphone. Many of which have low-quality DACs in them which can reduce the quality of the music you may be listening to. This DAC works to reduce noise and the degradation of quality while also providing a much higher level of listening quality. The D10s supports up to 384kHz PCM as well as DSD at 256 bits. With this range you can listen at whichever quality you may own music without any loss of fidelity. The D10s is a very simple addition to your setup. Simply plug the device into your mac or pc with no additional drivers required. Additional software is required for playing the highest quality files. The Topping represents a very affordable DAC as well as further uses once your system expands. If you get any larger DACs then you can simply use the D10s as a USB interface for your laptop phone or tablet. For more advanced users the OP amp is changeable so an alternate chip can be installed into the unit.
