Product Fundamentals
  • High quality Vandoren cane Vandoren consider everything when growing the cane for their reeds. The soil moisture levels climate and weather are all carefully monitored to ensure the best plants possible. It is then hand-cut to avoid any damage to the fibres before being slowly dried over the course of two years. When ready to be shaped the cane is cut and bevelled to within a tolerance of a hundredth of a millimetre. Reeds are then packaged into "Flow Pack" packaging to protect against humidity variation. Vandoren reeds are meticulously tested to ensure the best playing experience for musicians across the globe.
