Based on the iconic Universal Audio 1176 studio compressor, the interior of the Deep Six V3 has had a complete internal re-fit in contrast to the more cosmetic upgrade of version 2. Version 3 has a newly added Tone pot so that any overpowering lower frequencies can be fought back down and filtered out - endlessly useful when lower frequencies are in danger of taking up too much space in the mix, making everything sound less tight.
